Update #1

Well the winter months are
passing us by and we leave for Florida in less than 4 weeks. Our plan is to
leave on Feb. 9th and we will be racing at Volusia on Sunday, Monday
and Tuesday. On Wednesday we will drive down to East Bay Raceway and practice.
Then we will race Thursday, Friday & Saturday. The car is nearly ready and
we will be doing decals at K-Graphics next week. The engine was freshened up by
Billy Lloyd at the end of 2007 and only has about 4 races on it, so we should
be good to go there. We also have a 34’ enclosed trailer which will make it
nice for our long road trips. Tim Cooper is organizing it now. Jason Canepari
will be setting the car up this weekend with the new quick change rearend,
which will really make it nice for changing gears. We are still driving the
Hassy Chassis House Car owned by Tod Buckhalter and we are still running DRS
Dickson Racing Shocks.
I am still looking for
sponsors and I am looking forward to a great 2008 racing season! I am also
having a garage built over the months of Feb. & March. I am utilizing
H&S Construction, Zemba Bros. & Steve Balderson Construction.
Just to give you an update
on dad, last week he had a stress test that came back abnormal. Monday of this
week he had a heart catheterization and found that 2 of the by passes had
blockages. One bypass required 2 stints and the other required one stint. He
should be good to go. The Dr. said that the chance of blockages taking place in
bypasses is 5%. I guess Dad is special. LOL!He’s coming home today and the Dr.
said he should be good to go!
