Friday
nights racing was cancelled due to Mother Nature. So we headed to the Valley
for their season opener. Unfortunately their car count was low. They only had 5
modifieds. Now besides myself, 3 of the 4 other drivers were past champions and
feature winners at Ohio Valley. With the low car count, we decided to skip a
heat race and just line up and run a feature. We started 3rd in the feature and
took the lead a couple of laps into it. A positive was the car was working
extremely well. Prior to the race, Billy Joe and Wanda Hammett had donated $100
to both the late model and modified feature. So by winning, we got an extra
$100 to our feature win.

Race Cars, and Balderson Construction for all of their support.
Next
week we plan to go to Skyline on Friday and Eastside Speedway in Virginia for a
Road Warrior Tour Race. We hope to see you there! Remember! To make this work,
